China's Huang Shanshan and Zhong Xingping finished one-two in the women's routines after the qualifying-round competition, with 67.00 and 65.90 points respectively over two routines.
   
Lu Chunlong and Que Zhicheng booked the top two positions in the men's qualifying.
   
Huang, bronze medallist from the 2004 Olympics Games, needs to find her form again if she intends to beat a field of experienced gymnasts including Uzbekistan's Ekaterina Khilko, who was third inqualification with 64.20.
   
World No. 1 Yasuhiro Ueyama of Japan is a technically sound trampolinist who earlier this year became the male trampolinist towin four consecutive world cup events.
   
China's Que Zhicheng rocketed through six doubles and three triples in his routine. Que, who lives in east China's port city Tianjin, has been in a top form on the 2005-06 world cup circuit, winning a silver and two bronze in individual competitions.
   
"Ueyama's movement is of high stability," Que said. "My actionsare not in the same level with Ueyama. I need to give my best if Iwant to win the gold medal tomorrow," said Que Zhicheng.
