More Chinese-funded enterprises listed on Singapore Exchange with good performance

More and more Chinese-funded enterprises have been listed on the Singapore Exchange since this year. The performance of most Chinese listed enterprises was good in Singapore.

There were over 700 companies listed on Singapore Exchange, among which over 250 were overseas enterprises and 120 from China. The total market value of Chinese listed enterprises has exceeded 28 bln Singapore Dollars ( 1 Singapore Dollar equals about USD0.65), accounting for above 5.5% of the total market value of Singapore market with an increase of 80% compared with that in 2005. The total financing amount was over 3 bln Singapore Dollars. Currently Chinese stock accounted for about 15% of daily stock trading volume of Singapore Exchange.

A total of 58 foreign enterprises were listed on Singapore Exchange by December 20 this year, among which 25 enterprises came from mainland, China with the financing amount of 1.47 bln Singapore Dollars.
