Due to the restart of the interior IPO (Initial Public Offerings), many listed companies are returning to the A-Share market from the Hong Kong Market, and the CMCC (China Mobile Communication Corporation), the CTC (China TeleCom) and the CNT (China Netcom Corporation) have become the focus of concern. Besides CU (China Unicom) which has already been listed in A-Share market, many indications point that the three main operators listed above are planning to come back to A-Share market as well.
The CMCC waits for entry
Recent reports have detailed that the CMCC is looking forward to its entry to the A-Share market, and the funds raised will be over USD 10 billion. A CMCC spokesperson, however, has expressed that the China Mobile Communication Group (the parent firm of CMCC) indeed intends to finance operations in the interior of

A dubious attitude from the CTC

A spokesperson of the CTC replies to the reports: “The CTC now doesn’t consider to be listed in A-Share market.” However, the related parties in the CTC President Office are swaying a bit on their official stance: “we haven’t related news to be announced now.”
CNT plans its return to the A-Share Market
The CNT, on the other hand, is actively considering being listed in the A-Share market and reportedly, the CNT has contacted related consignees and made related solutions to initiate their entry.
Former Chairman of CNT Zhang Chunjiang expresses publicly that he hopes that the CNT will return to the A-Share market. However, he stresses that the CNT hasn’t made practical plans yet, because CNT is a red chip company and , if it plans to come back to the A-share market, it will have to be involved in rather complex programmes. Other industry insiders view that the possibility of the CNT to issue A-shares in a short period is relatively small.
