Comment (Vivi Nevo, a private international multimillionaire of mystery, made his romantic relationship with Chinese superstar Zhang Ziyi public at the Knicks game last week.
That move alone would highlight his place as New York's new leading man of money and it has been a long time coming. Vivi, whose full name is Aviv, is from Israel and currently heads an investment firm entitled NV Investments that has one of the biggest stock shares of the Time Warner entertainment group. His company specializes in strategic investment in everything from global technology to the media.
But that's not the only thing Vivi has invested in during the last few years. He counts Kate Moss to be among his romantic conquests, not to mention some other pretty British ladies that he has been spotted with. He's dashing, wealthy, and powerful and no matter how much his three publicists attempt to lower his profile, he's here to stay. And he might not be a man of mystery much longer.
Chinese film star Zhang Ziyi just finished polishing her English delivery skills by taking voice and dialect classes at Juilliard School in New York. Zhang has a voice role, playing Karai, the new leader of the Foot Ninja Clan, in the upcoming animated movie, "TMNT," based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon characters. The movie will be released on March 30 in the United States. The actress also will fly to Winnipeg later this week to start filming the crime thriller "Horsemen."
Zhang studied at China's Central Academy of Drama in Beijing in the mid-1990s. She made her name in Chinese films like "The Road Home" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" before moving on to Hollywood. Along with "Memoirs of a Geisha," she has appeared in "Rush Hour 2."
