With Dayron Robles falling, by three points, to 1384, Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang again stands atop the men's hurdles rankings, according to the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). The burgeoning Cuban Robles caught up with Liu Xiang to share the first place in the last update of the IAAF rankings, with both level-pegging on 1387 points. Robles' cut helped drive the world record holder Liu Xiang back into an outright lead, despite the Chinese flying man having recently added no more points to his tally. Another Chinese athlete Shi Dongpeng climbed one spot to 18th. Allen Johnson was placed third, followed by compatriots Aries Merritt and Anwar Moore.
