A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Wednesday called on parties, politicians and civil societies from both China and Japan to cement cooperation for further bilateral relations.
Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here with Yuji Kiyokawa, President of the Japan-China Economic Association, and Kenjiro Ogata, former president of the business organization.
Wang said that the China-Japan relations have maintained sound momentum of development in recent years and he expressed appreciation for Japanese civil societies such as the Japan-China Economic Association for devotion to promoting China-Japan friendly relations.
Wang hoped that parties, politicians and civil societies of both countries would deepen cooperation so as to play a bigger role in consolidating the basis of China-Japan friendly relations.
