A senior Chinese football official is to meet with Asian football head to discuss a violative player import by Qatar, a major rival of China in the World Cup qualifying round.

Sohu.com reported that Xie Yalong, chairman of the Chinese Football Association (CFA), will bring up the issue during his consultation with Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President, Mohamed Hammam, in a few days.

The FIFA has heard the case and Qatar will have their victory taken back if convicted of the offence.
