Two pandas, Mei Qian and Si Jia, from Sichuan province celebrated their second birthday on Tuesday in Yunnan wild zoo. The zoo held a birthday party for them, which attracted over 4,500 tourists, Kunming Daily reports.

They received an Olympic-ring-like cake as their birthday present, made of their favorite foods such as bamboo, apple and carrot.

They also received a parallel bar and swings as presents, which they enjoyed playing with during the birthday party.

After the three pandas from Sichuan province arrived at the zoo, thousands of people flocked to see them which boosted income at the zoo. Statistics show that more than 40,000 tourists visited the zoo in a month, a 35% increase compared to the same period last year.

The zoo also holds many activities for visitors to play with the three pandas and sells panda souvenirs, further increasing profits.
