China held a meeting Monday morning to award people who made outstanding contributions to the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics.

Chinese President Hu Jintao attended the awarding meeting. Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, Premier Wen Jiabao, and other top leaders Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang also attended the meeting.
