Mangocity.com, a travel service provider, has paired up with Alipay.com, a third party payment platform, to make available online air ticketing service to its clients. Customers could first wire money to Alipay that will transfer the payment to Mangocity after ticket information is confirmed by payers. Money would be given back if air ticket is not delivered. China's online air ticketing turnover soared 440.7% in 2008 to ¥49.5 billion which was largely dominated by Ctrip.com (NASDAQ: CTRP) and eLong (NASDAQ: LONG).
