    MACAO, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- A total of 95 companies were dissolved in Macao during the third quarter of 2009, according to the figures released on Friday by the city's Statistics and Census Service (DSEC).

    The registered capital value of these dissolved companies amounted to 14 million patacas (1.8 million U.S. dollars), with that of 18 construction companies in dissolution accounted for 20.9 percent of the total, the DSEC figures indicated.

    Meanwhile, a total of 651 new companies were incorporated in the third quarter of 2009, increasing by 2 percent year-on-year, with the total value of registered capital rising by 13.7 percent to 75 million patacas (9.5 million dollars), the DSEC said.
